And thanks for visiting our site. In this web presence we briefly describe ourselves and a little about Lionism together with the "We Serve!" community service motto common to Lions clubs everywhere. Our real purpose is to arouse your interest with the ultimate goal of enticing you into becoming an active member of our club. Lions clubs are neither religious, political nor organized for
business purposes. The clubs exist so that members may pool their
skills, talents and resources for the betterment of the community.
The Castro Lions Club was chartered in 1985. Since that time our
members have raised and distributed over $800,000 in charitable
grants to nonprofit service agencies. We welcome into membership all
